It’s a Blog ! Not a Log !

Seems i might have caught this stomach bug that Mel’s been and had, feeling extremely rough again this morning, spent another night rushing between the bedroom and the toilet, considering the amount of times i’ve been and the little amount of food I’ve had there seems to be alot coming out of me at the moment (whatever you do, do’nt picture this in your head), hopefully going back to work tomorrow to face the consequences of taking 2 days off work sick, should be interesting.

Other consequences of being off work ill is daytime televison . . .� its shite

Ohhhh not feeling well at all today, Mel ordered me a Chinese last night anf its gone right through me, probably not the best thing to share with the adoring public, but I feel chronic and could do with some sympathy, think I managed a full 2 hrs sleep last night, rest of the time I was sat on the porcelain throne wishing I’d never had a chinese in the first place . .� did’nt much fancy work this morning and dont fancy anyhting else to eat tbh, gonna go back to bed and try and get some more fluids in me to try and flush the whole experience away

Blog and Forum alot recently. noticed a sharp increase in fake members joining my forums and adding posts with links to dodgy websites that ask you to download executables, which are actually virus/trojan install files, while the blogs been attacting alot of bogus links to sites selling crap watch’s etc.

Think I’m going to have to start banning ip address’s

So there I am sat in the front room thinking it’s going to be a quiet night, when Ash, Lee,Ben, John,Steve, Adam and Amanada show up at ours with Vodka and beer, so much for a quiet night, have now finally got rid of them all and can go to sleep

Well seeing as I was skint and Mel was’nt we decided to take her Auntie Marge and her sister Gail out for lunch at this fine establishment nr Lymn, think its actually at Little Bollington, its situated in a small village just behind Dunham Massey Hall, and allows Dogs into its establishment, which is pretty cool as once you’ve had something to eat you can enter Dunham Massey Hall’s gardens and woodlands via a small path that leads from the lane that the Pub is situated on, so it’s very handy for working off all that lovely food you’ve just eaten.� I should also point out that they provide all the visiting dog’s with free biscuits and water, which is quite decent of them, stops your dog jumping up at your table while your eating

I can highly recommend the Gammon Steak with the home-cut chips (now these are big chips indeed), can also recommend you try some of the guest beers they regularly stock, but do ensure your not the person who’s driving if you do sample them.

Anyway definitely take the walk round the gardens at Dunham Massey as they have a large herd of deer on the grounds and there a real site to see, the gardens themselves are quite unique in the way that they’ve been laid out so that once can walk the whole length of them fairly easily and get a decent bit of exercise to boot.

Well after the excitement of thinking wooohoo it’s Friday, I’ve actually realised I’m a bit skint, so have decided to retreat to my bed with some sharkage and me ipod and have been chilling to some Hed Kandi Serve Chilled tracks, very relaxing chilled out tunes, just gotta love Hed Kandi albums.

Anyway heading back to bed for a while as the sharkage is kicking in quite a bit now

So its Friday lunch time and the work days nearly 1/2 way gone, just another 4 hrs and I can finally go back to bed . . had another sleepless night last night due to a stinking cold, kept me awake most of the night either because I was feeling to cold or just to stuffy, eventually fell asleep around 3am this morning, then 1/2 hr later was woken up by Mel getting ready for work at 4:30am, spent most of this morning in complete daze, just wishing the day would end.

Really need to go see someone about my sleep problems . . seems I’ve not had a proper kip in months, years infact, just cant figure out whats the matter with me, maybe I’m to stressed or something, I sort of feel like Al Pacino in that movie Insomnia, where he’s not slept in days . . anyway lunch is about over so best be getting back to work before i fall asleep at me keyboard.

That is the question . .

So me and Mel have been discussing what we’re going to do for a pet when our final little rat Ruby succumbs to old age, as per usual the subject turned to getting a dog, now don’t get me wrong I’m well up for a dog, but I want a proper dog, not some nabby pamby thing that makes me look like either a puff or the husband of a woman with a blue rinse.

Mel wants to get a Scottie Dog which I must admit is fairly tempting, but to be honest I’d rather have a Schnauzer, ideally a giant one, but which ever dog we decide on I know Mel’s going to want to smother it and treat it to all kinds fo things that will end up costing us a fortune and make the dog look a right idiot . .

On the subject of such treats etc did you know you can now buy for your stressed dog a Music CD called “music for healthy pets,” which has a cute puppy on the cover. The Japanese veterinarian Norio Aoki claims that, “Cheerful but serene music is good for dogs and romantic music is good for cats.”, now I wonder who told him that, did he just happened to have Dr Doolittle nearby translating for him or even better how about if your dog got a date with a member of the opposite sex and wants to smell her best for this little encounter, well not to worry you can always go and buy it some “La Pooch” fragrance, described by the manufacturer as “A delightfully light combination of fresh white florals with a hint of green and fruity notes“.

So they’ve gone and updated wordpress again, which is a good thing, but tis also a bad thing, as some of my plugins are playing up now, which means I’ve had to find another Wordpress theme that will work with all my plugins .

Anyway the updated Wordpress seems pretty slick, not had a chance to play about with it alot as yet, but if you want to know more, you’ll find it all here,so they’ve named this update Ella, after the legendery Ella Fitzgerald, so there obviously into there Jaz music and what a choice the First Lady of Jazz
