Kenny reached the grand old age of 50 last week along with Andy reaching the 40 mark, so they had a joint party to celebrate and used the oppurtunity to get everyone back togeather again.
It was good to see all the faces from the partys togeather again having a laugh and just generally getting on, party kicked off at of all places Stretford Cricket Club, then moved onto Lisa’s flat, where drinks flowed and people talked bollox (mainly due to what they’d had).
We left fairly early on in the morning 5:00am so maybe not so early, but the party carried on after we left, ending only when John, Ben and a few others decided to place most of Lisa food stuffs in the freezer . . . oh and after Ben had emptied a full bag of flour over the sleeping Lisa’s head (not nice Ben).
Gotta say Kenny was looking good for an old man and no doubt has many years left in him, all the best Kenny and Andy

Did’nt really post to much over the weekend as I spent quite alot of it in bed, due to being called out to an alarm call at my workplace, was there from midnight Friday till 5:30am Saturday morning, so spent quite a while in bed recovering.
So seeing as most of Saturday was spent in bed thought we#d better do something on Sunday, was’nt sure what to do or where to go, but in the end we decided on Chelford Car boot.
Got there for about 12:30 and spent a good hour or so just wondering round looking for bargain’s but think we missed most of them, so just ended up buying lots of quaility cheeses instead, more about those in another post.
After leaving we thought we’d best take Blue for a walk and on the way back we chanced upon Styal Estate a rather good dog walking place, we’d heard about it before but never actually bothered to go look for it, really wish we had cause its definatly a dog friendly walk, lost of paths and fields for Blue to galavant in, I’ll stick some photo & videos up this weekend so you can see for yourselfs.
Anyway its close to 8:00am and I’d better start making my way to work, cyas laters

Time to put away the bunting, yes the curtain has fallen on this years Giant Bradley Day…..
I arrived home early Saturday afternoon with Mel, Liam and Gemma, after we’d got Liam and Gemma settled in there little log cabin decided to take them for a quick scoot around York to do the touristy thing, though to be honest we did’nt have long there as it was at least 3pm when we got there, had a quick beer in the Roman Baths pub and then took them around the Shambles and such like.

Liam looking all Redneck
Arrived back in Weighton about 6:00pm and then met up with them both for a few drinks round Weighton, actually expected it to be a fairly busy day, but seems that most people were saving themselves for Sunday nights as the pubs were real empty, Bradley day itself was the usual stalls and street performers, was especially impressed by the guy doing the Falconary display, really entertaining and very enjoyable, did’nt see much of the Giant though.
Entered Blue in the Dog Show again this year though she was pipped at the post by a rescue Akita, in all she won 3 Rossetes:

1st Place for Most Looks Like Owner
2nd Place for Best Legs
2nd Place for Best in Show
But hey she cant be expected to win every year, got to give all the other dogs a chance, anyway after that we hung around for a few hours and then decided to head back to Manchester with Liam and Gemma and another Bradley Day was been and gone

Is nothing sacred, it’s enough we have to watch the misery of Coro on the TV without having it on our computer screens as well.
My computer is my escape from dull evening soaps and now there’s a possibility that just as dull a game is going to be made all based on Coronation Street, what am I supposed to do if the missus decides she wants to buy it and install it on my PC, It’ll no longer be pure, it will be tainted by this thing they call a Soap.
Dear god what have us men done to deserver such punishment, how dare they consider placing such a game as this alongside my install of Half-life 2 and Call of Duty . . oh the pain . .

So I’ve just found a nifty piece of software to allow me to twitter alot more freely and discretely, its called twitterdeck and I’m liking it alot, infact I’m probably twittering more since I installed it then ever.
You should check it out, it works on Windows, Mac OSX and Linux machine’s, so just about anyone can install it and start using it straight away.

Well this is all that remains of Bernie’s caravan and her daughters boyfriend Johnny’s car after somebody decided to torch it in the early hours of Sunday morning.
No idea who’s done it and the Police don’t appear to be all that interested in the situation, they’ve just told her that it’s her responsibility to have the remains removed as there a health hazard due to all the toxin’s that were released when the caravan was alight, so as well as losing the caravan, Bernie’s then got to find £150 to get the thing removed, don’t know what Johnny’s going to do with his car as yet, guessing his insurrance company will come and take that away at some point, the only good thing to come out of the whole incident is that thankfully no one was hurt.

Yes Manchester’s just gotten its first flurry of snow, which considering its the 1st Dec is pretty damn good timing, part of me’s hoping it sticks, but the part of me that has to drive in it hopes it doesn’t, but I think I’d prefer if it stays as it’s much more fun in the snow, plus it’ll be the first time I’ve taken Blue out in the snow, which should be fun, she’ll should stand out like a lump of coal with all that snow about.
So come on snow . . Snow some more

is the place . . . we’ll be tomorrow if all goes according to plan, the idea is we’ll take Blue for her usual Saturday morning walk round Ivy Green, have breakfast at Orlando’s and then head into town and see the delights on offer at the German Market, this will be only my 3rd visit to it in the 10yrs I’ve lived in Manchester, don’t know why I never bothered going before, just never seemed to get around to it, think its not living near the city centre I expect.
Anyway this year Mel’s actually going to come into town with me to visit the Market, we’re going to take Blue as well as we think that the crowds might help her with her socialisation skills, though then again she might just be the normal little shy girl she is and just be a little confused by all the 2 legs rushing by her, but once she gets everyone saying what a beautiful girl she is, she’ll be fine.
Thing I’m most looking forward to at the Market is the German Sausages and Mulled wine, top notch both of them, think I managed 3 sausages last year and boy where they big sausages
The Market turns St Ann’s Square into a little piece of wintery German traditional Market with its brightly lit wooden chalets selling everything from Sausages, Mulled Wine, Cheese, unusal presents and just about anything that could be associated with food and Christmas
The Market Runs from:
18th Nov – 21st Dec 2008 at St Ann’s Square and its open dailey from 10am-8pm (9pm in Albert Square)
But don’t just be drawn to St Ann’s Square as there are parts of the Market dotted all around the ajoining streets and roads, so go check them all out and enjoy it, I know we will
No doubt I’ll post a few videos of what we did and ate

Well only 3 more days to go till X-mas and still not bought all the pressies I need yet, got Mels on Friday, just got to wrap them now. So X-mas mmm time of giving and receiving, what wondrous things will I get this year I wonder.. maybe that Nasal Hair trimmer I’ve been selfishly plugging all year or perhaps that Karmen Ghia I’ve always wanted, probably not though, just expecting a pair of socks, a few shirts and maybe a bottle of Gin (Bombay Sapphire hopefully). Managed to only get 1 day off this X-mas, so still got to work at least 3 days, Mel has got from the 19th Dec to 5th Jan off and its not fair.
