Kenny reached the grand old age of 50 last week along with Andy reaching the 40 mark, so they had a joint party to celebrate and used the oppurtunity to get everyone back togeather again.
It was good to see all the faces from the partys togeather again having a laugh and just generally getting on, party kicked off at of all places Stretford Cricket Club, then moved onto Lisa’s flat, where drinks flowed and people talked bollox (mainly due to what they’d had).
We left fairly early on in the morning 5:00am so maybe not so early, but the party carried on after we left, ending only when John, Ben and a few others decided to place most of Lisa food stuffs in the freezer . . . oh and after Ben had emptied a full bag of flour over the sleeping Lisa’s head (not nice Ben).
Gotta say Kenny was looking good for an old man and no doubt has many years left in him, all the best Kenny and Andy

this site is definatly the one to go to to find out about the power of your PC/Laptop http://www.computerpowertest.com/ This site is not only good for beginners, but also good for the advanced PC user, it certainly surprised me with the results.

and all I’ve done is take Blue for 2 walks round Chorlton and chilled the rest of the weekend away, though I have spent about 4hrs geotagging alot of my flickr photo’s, so now at least people can see where they were taken, also started to make a few sets out of our Cornwall and Dorset holiday photo’s as they were a bit messy to be honest.
Also watched the movies Moon and Pandorum, the Moon is well worth seeing, but Pandorum’s just a basic SciFi scarer, nothing special, also got hold of District 9 which I hope to get around to watching sometime tomorrow evening, look pretty good and the reviews I’ve heard of it seem to agree, anyway work in the morrow so sorry its a crappy post, but its been a quiet weekend.

Just got back from an afternoon walk with some friends, had a nice leisurly walk round Ivy Green, took a few photo’s then had a swift one at the Horse and Jockey, closely followed by Bangers & Mash at electriks Bar.
Luke turned up 1/2 way through the meal and got introduced to his younger brother Will and his missus, Will’s down here for a showdown sort of thing between the Cowdry brothers and the Frietags, so should be an interesting afternoon/evening for those attending the bar today.
Would have loved to have stayed, but its Sunday and got work tomorrow so it’s a definate no no I’m afriad, will no doubt see Luke twittering about it later.
Going to spend the rest of the evening watching some more of Cold Case Series 1, did’nt really watch it when it aired on TV, but now I’ve managed to watch a few of them back to back getting quite into it, anyway managed to get hold of Series 1-4, so going to be some serious watching over the next week or so.

Discovered a nifty little plugin for WordPress today called Twitter2Press it allows you to turn part of your WordPress blog into an image hosting service for all those pictures you tweet, you know the ones that normally got to twitpic or one of the other Twitter picture hosting services.
Its fairly easy to set up and you can be up and running with it on your blog in about 5 minutes flat, I’m using Tweetie 2 to post the tweets at the moment as this seems to be the only iphone twitter client that allows you to choose a custom image hosting service, though i could be wrong (feel free to correct me).
So what are the benefits of hosting your Twitter generated pictures on your WordPress blog, well for a start you don’t have to point links to them if you what to post them on your blog, there already here, not much of a benefit I suppose, it also in a sense allows you to mobile post to your blog using the medium of pictures, but the best benefit of hosting them is now people on Twitter are now being directed to your blog rather than some image hosting company, so your getting all that extra traffic, and all that extra traffic might just decide to read your blog and maybe even follow it, so it’s hopefully bringing new followers to your own little space on the interweb
Anyway time to eat the Tuna and Lemon grass stirfry I just tweeted about mmmmm yummy

And was presently surprised to discover that it’s a Dell Inspiron 1750 Laptop, 17″ Display, Dual Core, 250gig drive and 4gig of Ram
Quite liking it alot, so anyways arrived at the Carphone Warehouse at 10:45am and by 11:00am the photographer had arrived and then spent the next hour having photo’s of me in various poses picking up the prize, hopefully be getting some pictures emailed across to me by the Photographer a very nice man called Paul Francis, his website can be found here Paul Francis Photography, check the site out to see the sort of work he does, I think you’ll be impressed, plus he’s a top bloke
After having the photo’s taken I rang Keri at Bisslancaster to thank them, after all it’s not every day you win a laptop is it . . ., also thanked the people at Carphone Warehouse and the guys behind Geek Squad for donating the Lap Top as a prize, hoping that in the next few weeks that I’ll get a call telling me whether I’ll be getting gadgets to review for them or not, hoping I will as I have in mind to set up a sub-domain on my webhost and set up a specific blog just for the reviews.
Now suppose I’d best go play with the new Lap Top a little bit more so that I can hopefully review it on here
Thanks again Carphone Warehouse

Just seen them filming parts of “The Fattest Man In Britain” in Chorlton at the Hairdressers on Wilbraham Rd, tried filming some of it but was asked to stop, so being the gentleman I was I did, apparently Timothy Spall is starring in it and Caroline Aherne is the writing force behind it, so its bound to be good, looking forward to seeing this when it comes to a screen near us.Â
Anyway after politely ebing asked to stop filming we ended up getting a pint in electriks while we waited for our curry from Zam Zam’s, saw Luke and Jerry, both seem recovered from the weekend, saw Badly Drawn Boy in there as well, he seemed quite taken with Blue, but who would’nt be with those sad eyes of hers, now sat at home devouring the tastiest Chicken Tikka Kebab in Chorlton mmmmm yummy.

Did’nt really post to much over the weekend as I spent quite alot of it in bed, due to being called out to an alarm call at my workplace, was there from midnight Friday till 5:30am Saturday morning, so spent quite a while in bed recovering.
So seeing as most of Saturday was spent in bed thought we#d better do something on Sunday, was’nt sure what to do or where to go, but in the end we decided on Chelford Car boot.
Got there for about 12:30 and spent a good hour or so just wondering round looking for bargain’s but think we missed most of them, so just ended up buying lots of quaility cheeses instead, more about those in another post.
After leaving we thought we’d best take Blue for a walk and on the way back we chanced upon Styal Estate a rather good dog walking place, we’d heard about it before but never actually bothered to go look for it, really wish we had cause its definatly a dog friendly walk, lost of paths and fields for Blue to galavant in, I’ll stick some photo & videos up this weekend so you can see for yourselfs.
Anyway its close to 8:00am and I’d better start making my way to work, cyas laters

I now know how Oppenheimer felt after creating the bomb and Shelly after finishing the final lines of Frankenstein, for I too have created a monster . . .  an Unatwittermonster, well I say a monster, but that’s a bit harsh, (he’s not a monster, he’s very nice gent), what I’ve actually done is introduced an already talkative person to the wonders of twitter, so not only can he speak for England he can now twitter for England.
Seems he was stuck for his fix last night and needed a Mac Charger and used the power of twitter to reach out and find one and I upon my trusty steed (BMW Tourer 318i) came to his rescue, think it was the offer of free beer that persuaded me to get off my ass and drop it off for him, anyway dropped it off stayed for 2 drinks (Lattes I was driving) and then left him to his twitterings.
Check him out if you get the chance you can find him here , oh don’t forget my own little twitterings
