Kenny reached the grand old age of 50 last week along with Andy reaching the 40 mark, so they had a joint party to celebrate and used the oppurtunity to get everyone back togeather again.

It was good to see all the faces from the partys togeather again having a laugh and just generally getting on, party kicked off at of all places Stretford Cricket Club, then moved onto Lisa’s flat, where drinks flowed and people talked bollox (mainly due to what they’d had).

We left fairly early on in the morning 5:00am so maybe not so early, but the party carried on after we left, ending only when John, Ben and a few others decided to place most of Lisa food stuffs in the freezer . . . oh and after Ben had emptied a full bag of flour over the sleeping Lisa’s head (not nice Ben).

Gotta say Kenny was looking good for an old man and no doubt has many years left in him, all the best Kenny and Andy

Well it started at the Green Windmill, where we enjoyed a few good bands and a few good drinks, saw Zoe and her partner, whose name I never did quite here the first time I met him, blame it on the loud music, so my apolgies for not knowing your name, anyway when we left the Green Windmill the night was still quite young so after a few times being a taxi I got everyone back to Bernies and were all here now, the roll call so far is :

Bernie, Amanda, Debbie,Nicola, Stacy, Lisa, Cath,Liam, Damian, Kev, Andy, Paul,Steve,Phil, Jon,Mel and Me.

Think it might turn into a bit of a mad one, shame Ben, John, Sophie and Ash are’nt here, but its not to be, saddens me a bit does that, Niki and Andy are’nt here either or Kenny again a bit of a shame, but theres always next time.

Not seen Kev and Andy since Blackpool, good to see the pair of them, really good lads the pair of them, was’nt to sure of Kev when I first met him a couple of years ago, but then again we were both a bit fucked to be honest, but think Kev and Andy are top lads, invited them out for our lads night out in Nov while Mel’s away the cats will play.

Leslie and Tim were out with us, but they decided not to come back with us, Leslie’s had a shit week, shame as it would have been nice again to have everyone here, so what is it about us lot when we get togeather, were mad for it as they say, were more then mad for it I think, we enjoy it to much to be mad for it, I’ve managed to rest control of the music so we’re listening to a bit of dance music which everyone seems to be getting into, well I hope they are anyway, if not tough shit I’m the dj for the night so fcuk em all

So does Bernie look any older for being 43 well her tits seem closer to the floor, but thats about it, shes still the same excitable Bernie that we all love and hold dear, and we would’nt want or have her any other way . . .

Happy Birthday Bernie may many birthdays follow and may all of them be in the company of friends and to those who are’nt here I’m thinking of you all and your here in spirit if nothing else.

Well its nearly 3:00am here and while I’m typing this the party’s going on around me and I now need to say bye for now and go mingle and mix.

Its seems that I won’t be going out this weekend to have a belated birthday drink with the boys, as a number of them have dropped out for various reasons :

Ash can’t make it cause he’s broke

John Fiddy can’t make it because Ben threw him of a set of garden steps for a laugh and now John’s laid up with a bad back and is unlikely to be available for any party’s for the next couple of weeks.

So at the moment I’ve just got Liam, Kenny, Andy and possibly Ben who are up for a Saturday night round Chorlton, but that’s about it, so I’m going to have to postpone until either Ash gets some cash or John gets better.

It always seems to happen to me, didn’t get a party last year either, but hey there’s always next year.

In other news the cat’s got back from his holidays so all the mice at work have had to start working quietly in case he hears them and there’s no more playing around either

Also just been looking at another festival for the Summer, its called BeatHerder and is just outside Manchester, tickets are only £55 for 3 days in July 4th-5th-6th, so there’s definitely a possibility it might not rain.

As for the line-up a few to many for me to type here, but well worth checking out, not just for the bands but also for the sound systems in attendance, I can particularly recommend the Stumblefunk Sound System, who will be there again this year

Well Nikki after asaulting my ears for the past couple of weekends about not having posted up any picture fo the past few weekends, I’ve finally got around to it . .  so check out the flickr page to see them all, more will be added once I’ve managed to get hold of Mel’s camera.

Now onto other things . .  Lisa’s flat warming party was a fairly good affair, nearly everyone turned up, though Liam could’nt make it due to work commitments, which was a pity, Kenny showed his face for a while then sneaked off before anyone could pull a fast one on him, Cath did the same at some point and so did Andy in the early hours, I myself snuck off to get some much needed sleep and returned later to pick Mel up.

Steve, Ash, John and Ben were up to there usual antics, this time round it was water filled ballons, luckily the target seemed to be the girls this time.

Think this will be the last time I’m out for a while what with being broke now, but hey theres always next month . .

The party’s finally over and me and Mel have made it home in one piece, though god knows if anyone else did . .

After meeting up with everyone in the Atlas Bar and a few journey’s backwards and forwards picking up late stragglers, we all attempted to get into D-Percussion, however by this time it was well to late and they’d stopping letting people in, so we headed to the White Lion bar just behind Castlefields to at least be able to hear the DJ’s playing, which we did and play well they did, spent about an hour there until Ash got everyone kicked out for uprooting flowers and throwing them at people, seems Ash really thought he was actually 12 yrs old (next time Amanda don’t give him a badge saying “I am 12″ on it) and decided to act like it.

So we all headed off to Ash’s house were the party carried on into the early hours of Sunday morning for me, Mel Damian and Debbie, though I believe some were still partying at 2pm Sunday and I actually know that Ben, John and Sophie are still there now (8.00am Monday).

Highlights of the evening were John getting all egged up by Ben and Ash, I understand he was also Brown Sauce d up and toilet papered at some point, though I missed that episode, other highlights were Kenny getting his clothes taken off him and thrown into next doors garden, though this did little to dampen penny’s mood and he proceeded to wonder around in his boxers and a cowboy hat (photographic proof on my flickr account) . .

I can now tell you what I got Ash for his Birthday it was this cartoon printed in A2 and framed for his front room wall, Ash loved it, Mel got him a jacket and a furry hat, Kenny got him a imitation gold medallion, aren’t sure what everyone else got him, but he seemed to have a good birthday and that’s the main thing.
